Okay I know that everyone kind of thinks Nylon is sucking right now and it was better five years ago. Whatev. After seeing a copy of Nylon from three years back, it doesn't look like anything's changed. But okay, maybe it's me.
Anyway, I was looking through Nylon's Street Style (I like it because the ouftits are super original and personal but I also don't like it because most of the outfits looked like they were churned out of the Nylon Trend Factory or whatever) when I saw this:
Does anyone else notice that she's wearing a Missbehave x Nails Did tee? Missb was, of course, one of the first to be up on the brilliance that is Nails Did, but I did notice a small feature about Nails Did in Nylon's last issue...so maybe they're catching on. But I'm pretty sure Nylon girls don't dig streetwear...or maybe they do. Maybe it's the new generation, the Nylon Gen X?
But can you just imagine all the Nylon girls seeing this picture and being fully confused about why the face on the tee isn't like Marilyn Monroe, Twiggy, or Karl?
God I'm bored...

Okay, that's freaky. It's also weird because Missbehave is very much the anti-Nylon (Mary H.K. Choi thinks Nylon is boring)-- highly unpretentious but very fashion-forward, and unlike Nylon, they don't pretend America's an unsuffering utopia. Missbehave knows something is off in the world and doesn't completely ignore it, which is really relieving. So this is super weird!
when i was flipping through this, i noticed the same thing, and it totally freaked me out. i remember thinking, "is that allowed?" lol
I just started reading Nylon...warming up to it. I am more a Missbehave gurl...slightly off.
um yeah, hi missbehave...im still waiting for my nails did tee.
anyway..word erkia, that is a bit stange.
