Plz Don't Get Silly-er

Christ. I heard some shitty rap awhile back, but I was sort of hoping that would be the last of awful club songs.

Not so!

If I hear this anywhere...Club Crucial, Club Primetime, S.O., or even Club Crunk, my ass is out of there faster than you can say "Ladies are free before midnight."

Okay, now...as if this'll make me feel any better about the current rap/club game...has anyone been all up in the club, having a really good time, you know, just turning shit out, and then the DJ just threw on some song so awful you can't even stay on the dancefloor? Tell me what song it was!

That way I can laugh and listen out for it next time I'm out!

Deuces,
Erika

oh god, this is just terrible. Just really, really, really terrible.

Well, I haven't had the best experiences with dj's lately, so I'd have to say, um, everything they play. But I really *hate* the song I Kissed a Girl, so that's my ultimate dancefloor deal breaker.

I can't stand DJ's who don't spin. It's like the people who get an iPod playlist, a big mixer for the looks and just wave their arms in the air. "Woahhhhhhh!" they'll shout, and really cheesy dumb stuff. I've seen some BAD DJ's in my life.

I saw this LOLhipster picture of like Steve Aoki and Danny Masterson and all those Cinespacey DJ's and it says, verbatim: "if u want i'z can deejay i gotz eyepod / no i'z dj! iz a dj 2! no I iz!1!" It was so genius, because it's true. I've seen it happen.

"I Kissed a Girl" is too gimmicky. It's just so she can sell records fast. And it sounds like it's trying to sound like Sohodolls' "Stripper", which is awesome and it was totally in Gossip Girl when Blair did a striptease.

I know, seriously, if you're just gonna play an i-pod playlist, why even bother? I can do that. I like to see actual spinning skills when I see dj's.

Thank you! I've been trying to convince my friends that I Kissed a Girl is a low-rent version of Stripper for a while now. But of course Stripper's Gossip Girl connection makes it like a 1000x better than any stupid Katy Perry song.

Move to Queens, and experience a PLETHORA of terrible DJs. It's some type of sick cultural disease or something. I like the word plethora, btw.

Party all night like yayer yayer...yeah...that's gotta be in the top 5 lyrics of the year...

That I kissed a girl was ok the first time I heard it...now I'm kinda tired of it...but neither of this is worse than Booty Meat...ughhh; I wish Soulja Boy would commit ritual suicide.

Oh gawd, me too. Soulja Boy needs to just stop. Just. Stop.

They still play Soulja Boy? I only go to parties in hipster ny, so I have no idea. That's weird, I thought it died like, forever ago.

Yes pretty much as soon as Diplo stopped playing baile funk and baltimore club and decided he wanted to try and impress us at Whirlyball with a mediocre mix of down south shit. As if Atlanta radio hasn't been cranking that since Ludacris was still Chris Luva Luva. I was even faded enough to tell him that we were over soulja boy down here after his set.

Did you really? That's fucking awesome man! Yeah, I was totally into the set when he was spinning the club bangers but then the set just started getting ugly.
